Curriculum Vitae

Florian Engl is a Junior Professor of Corporate Development and Compliance Management at the University of Cologne since October 2015. Additionally, since 2017, he is a CESifo Research Network Affiliate and Member of the Committee for Organizational Economics of the Verein für Socialpolitik.
Dr. Engl graduated from the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität Munich in 2010 with a diploma in Economics. Thereafter, he joined the Zurich Graduate School of Economics at the University of Zurich as a doctoral student. Dr. Engl completed his doctoral studies under the supervision of Prof. Roberto Weber and received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of Zurich in 2015. Prior to joining the Department of Business Ethics and Corporate Development at the University of Cologne, he was a visiting scholar at New York University and Cornell University. His work has been published in international academic journals such as the European Economic Review.
